At Nomade Nation we look after your data with the same intention we put into every detail of our campers. This policy explains, clearly, what data we process, why, and the rights you have.

What follows is the full information required by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).

2. What data we process

  • Data you give us: name and surname, email, phone number and the content of your messages, when you fill in a form (contact, visit, test drive, configurator, newsletter) or write to us by email, phone or WhatsApp.
  • Account and configurations: the email address and PIN used to access the “Mi camper” area or the Nomade App, your saved configurations and the status of your order.
  • Customer data (if you move towards a purchase): national ID/tax number, address, billing and payment details, vehicle and delivery details, and the documentation required for registration and administrative procedures.
  • Financing: the data you provide so that we can process your application with our partner financing entity.
  • Rental: the details of your request so that we can connect you with our rent partners.
  • Browsing: IP address, device and pages visited, solely through the cookies you accept (see our Cookie Policy).

We do not ask for special categories of data (health, beliefs, etc.) and the website is not aimed at children under 14.

3. Why we process your data, and on what legal basis

We do not use your data for automated decisions with legal effects on you. Any commercial segmentation we may carry out is limited and always based on consent.

4. How long we keep your data

  • Enquiries and requests: while we handle them and, at most, for 1 year after our last contact, unless they lead to a contractual relationship.
  • Newsletter: until you withdraw your consent; we will keep your email address on a suppression list so that we do not contact you again.
  • “Mi camper” / App account: for as long as you keep it active.
  • Customers: for the duration of the contractual relationship and the statutory periods that follow — 6 years for commercial documentation (Spanish Commercial Code), 4 years for tax purposes, and at least the 3 years of the legal guarantee plus any applicable claim periods.

Once these periods expire, data is erased or kept blocked, available only to the competent authorities, until liability becomes time-barred.

5. Who we share your data with

Service providers (data processors), who process data only on our instructions and under contract:

  • HubSpot (CRM and commercial communications).
  • Google (Google Workspace corporate email and Google Analytics 4).
  • Our web hosting and CDN provider.
  • An advanced electronic signature platform, for signing contracts.
  • An administrative agency (gestoría), for vehicle registration and taxes.

Third-party recipients, only where applicable:

  • Our partner financing entity, if you apply for financing (it becomes the controller of your data in order to assess your application).
  • Our rent partners, if you ask us about renting (we tell you which partner handles your request when we pass it on).
  • Banks, to process payments.
  • Public authorities (traffic authority — DGT, tax agency — AEAT, and consumer bodies) where the law requires it.
  • Legal advisers, where necessary for the defence of claims.

We do not sell or rent your personal data.

6. International transfers

Some of our providers (Google, HubSpot) are located in the United States and are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission has declared adequate. Where that framework does not apply, we rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the Commission, with additional safeguards.

7. Your rights

You can exercise at any time your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability, and withdraw your consent without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

  • Write to contact@nomade-nation.com telling us which right you wish to exercise. We will only ask you for additional information to verify your identity if there is reasonable doubt — never as a matter of course.
  • We will reply within one month at the latest.
  • If you believe we have not handled your rights properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, www.aepd.es, C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid, Spain).

8. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk: encrypted communications, access controls on a need-to-know basis, confidentiality duties for our team and providers, and incident response procedures. If a security incident were to pose a high risk to your rights, we would inform you without undue delay.

9. Minors

The website and our services are not aimed at children under 14 and we do not knowingly process their data. If we detect data of a child provided without the consent of their parents or legal guardians, we will erase it.

10. Social media and WhatsApp

How we process data on our social profiles is explained in our Social Media Policy. If you contact us via WhatsApp, the service is also governed by WhatsApp’s (Meta’s) own terms and privacy policy.

11. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy whenever the law or our processing changes, always publishing the current version with its date. If a change is relevant to you, we will let you know through a direct channel. This is a courtesy translation: in the event of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
